Most classes consist of tap and jazz/or ballet. The 30 minute class teaches 2 routines, basic technique and stretching, and is for someone who enjoys dance but also has other interests and likes it just for fun. It is an introduction for our little ones to the joy of dance!
The 45 minute and 90 minute classes spend time on across the floor technique and may have more than 2 routines. The placement of your child has been determined from what class and individual ability level she/he was at last year. New students will be placed according to age and experience with the understanding that change might be needed after a few weeks.
Competition groups are for the hard working, dedicated dancers who will make the commitment to practice on their own, have good attendance and will be available for 1 to 3 competitions. Costume costs run slightly higher than regular classes, due to hairpieces, added accessories and studio dancewear needed for competitions. Also mandatory is Ballet Class from October thru March.
